No matter how hard you try you will never save your hatchling and that (paired with the soundtrack) made me feel sad. Such a great game, and one of my favourites so far from the jam.

Wow. This game left me a bit speechless. A lot of games featured taking care of the earth or featured taking care of a baby of some sort, but this felt extremely effective by placing the pollution in direct opposition of taking care of the Hatchling. The gradual addition of the pollution elements goes a long way for having the player feel the difference as well as naturally introducing difficulty to the game. Nothing felt quite as helpless as watching the fish die and knowing there were fewer and fewer fish to feed the chick. Absolutely well done. 

I think I'm gonna keep this game for a while. It almost feels like an indie game off a store.

The only issue I noticed was that sometimes, feeding the chick took a few tries.

Also, is the only way to get on the iceberg to dive deep and shoot yourself out of the water?

This is both very fun and incredibly sad. The obvious part of the theme being "take care of your hatchling" is very well done but the less obvious "take care of the planet so this type of stuff doesn't happen" is an extra layer of depth that's quite welcome. Not to mention the mechanics are just genuinely fun to play around with. Fantastically done.

This is, seriously, the best game in the jam (out of the ones I've played yet). Your sound design and art aesthetic are impeccable and the handling on your player character is *chef's kiss*. This is legitimately a FUN game and it fits the theme so well! Bravo!
