Good oldy atmoshpere. I enjoyed the newpaper articles. If they are real article headlines, it is pretty scary how today's events are mirroring those of that time

Developer(+1)

thank you very much, glad you enjoyed :)

No, the headlines were made up by one of the team, it would be Definely scarier otherwise ahaha. But I mean, if you saw the extra credits videos about the1918 flu, you know they didn't handle well that either, but they had more excuses at least 馃槄

Hiya, article headline writer here. :)  They are all fabricated for the setting of this game, but for inspiration I researched and found as many newspaper headlines as I could from the 1918 flu epidemic, and endeavoured to mimic their style and tone as closely as I could.  It is eerie how closely the COVID crisis has repeated history.  Glad you enjoyed the game! :)

I tried both the download (wich was flagged by the antivirus) and the web version. Both didn't work. A petty, I really like history and WWI.

Developer

for the download i can tell you it works because i downloaded from the other pc. usually with Unity exe it takes 10 mins to exit from the antivirus state.

for the browser yeah, we didn't know that fmod is not working with webgl correctly happarently.

If you want to give it a try i'd suggest to wait a bit before deleting it,  but your choice. Cheers

Goddamn... I was having so much fun that I didn't even notice how dark it all was. I loved it.
P.S.: Your game doesn't seem to work on the web. Happened the same to me but disabling some compression options inside Unity helped fix it. Give it a try.

Developer(+1)

first of all, thanks for the feedback ^.^  for the not working, i thought it would be fmod the cause, but i'll gladly give that a try after the jam is over.

Cheers
