Very fun and simple to catch up. Maybe it takes too much time for the higher difficulty to kick in, but I guess it does fit with the theme. (I felt stuck in a loop after 4 minutes xD).

Oh gosh, so many things to take care about! Amazing tutorial, Is incredible you found the time to incorporate it in just 3 days. Everything works very well together, art, sound effects, music and gameplay. The only thing I would recommend is to add some text labels or icons next to the bars to remind the player what each one does.. Even after doing the tutorial twice I couldn't remember :'(

Maybe try mine, is also biology based :)

I'm just mesmerized with the art style. Great job!

If you press ESC key you will get a tutorial overlay with some explanations about weapons and food. Basically you want to cook each food in the proper way, like eating raw chicken is gross. Thanks for playing and your comment!

Got to level 6 and then I just gave up... Interesting take of a multiple character puzzle. I like a lot the perspective design. Works very well, good job overall!

Hehe I was worried a bout that! One of the reasons I made the munchy to not collide with the bullets ;)

This is great feedback. Next time I'll be more careful with the VFX.

Kudos, this game is very good and I love the theme. I would love to see a full game using this idea. What engine did you use? Is amazing how much you accomplished in just 3 days.

The narrative is pretty good, I have a younger sibling and I felt connected to the story. I think some choices answers felt a little off, for example when I said the internet was the best thing in the world Alex got sad because she is timid (I felt punished there, I knew she was timid but the internet can be used for much more than social engagement).

Thanks for playing and the feedback :D

Arhg, the game is so hard.. But I guess is pretty accurate with the theme xD. Overall good experience.

Yeah I know. Game jamming requires a very different approach when it comes to planning and implementation. This kind of simulation games are extremely hard to implement in a normal setup so here... Keep trying! That's how you get gut :)

The Sophia series are one of my favorite ones from Extra History. I really enjoyed playing a game user her as the theme :).

Wow, I like the psychology behind the game. Also there is a powerful message behind this. The story telling and theme reminds me to Undertale. Good entry!

The game is pretty challenging! I tried a couple of times but I was barely able to go for more than 10 seconds. I like the historical theme of the game.

Thanks for playing! Yeah I think I over did it with the graphic effects ^^'. Glad you liked it.

Yeah the game mechanics can be over complicated. Basically each food has a different way to be prepared. By pressing 1 you use the boiling gun, 2 the roaster gun and 3 the frying gun.

You want to avoid boiling apples because is gross for example. For a full tutorial and explanation on how to cook each food you can press esc and get a list.

Yeah, pressing esc shows the tutorial with some explanations of what each wepon does to the food. Also some food needs to be cooked in specific ways, for example, eating boiled apple is disgusting :p.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks!!

I streamed the whole thing. At the end I started to sing Hamilton

I did a shooter with an educational twist https://erudis.itch.io/take-care-of-your-munchies-and-learn-nutrition

Nice! The hardest munchy to get is Vengan ;)

Nice platformmer with a bit of resource management mechanics. I like a lot the music and that splash sure goes easy in the eyes :D

Nice style and art. I think the pace is on point. I like how the talking points gives a lot of personality to the cats. It reminds me to Neko Atsume: Kitty Collector.

Good to know, yeah maybe for next jam I'll try using a 3D asset pack too. It will be a great way to learn to do gameplay programming in 3D :)

Oh! And nice reference to Star Wars ;)

Very good art style. I like microbiology games :D

Thanks! yes I'm obsessed with educational games. This jam was my take on combining it with a shooter.

An interesting take to a historic theme. Looks like there is some matching with reality but the game feels over complicated and is hard to know what's going on.

WOW I love this game. It's impressive what  you accomplished in just 3 days. I can see a game like this one really working out as a async cooperative game. Good job.

Jesus, this game is so dark but I love it xD. Good programming overall and nice try with the art. I know how hard it can be.

I tried both the download (wich was flagged by the antivirus) and the web version. Both didn't work. A petty, I really like history and WWI.

Yeah, I was using a feedback system from the Unity Top Down Engine asset pack that had the option to freeze the camera for a second for dramatic purposes. But it doesn't work out for this particular game.. I should have disabled it >< (I was trying as many things possible for learning purposes). Thanks for the feedback!

I think you really nailed down the skew animations. The gameplay feels right, I like how the pills only have certain distance, it fits the theme perfectly. A progression mechanic would have helped the game to feel deeper.

Simple and relaxing game. The art style is on point!! What did you use for the 3D models.

I like it! The coins gives a great extra challenge to move forward for. As a constructive feedback I would add a wait time between putting blocks, I was able to create an infinite feedback loop for the ball xD.
