This is so awesome!!!
I found myself playing for much longer than I expected I would because I loved exploring your world and talking to the folks, and the functionality is super impressive. I didn't find the 'Space' to use equipped item too intuitive, but once I got used to it after a couple in game days, it was no issue.
Truly impressive for the short time we all had. I feel like this world is fleshed out and I'll be coming back to spend more time and dig deeper after rating some other submissions too!
I can't wait to see what you do in the Autumnal Farm Jam if you decide to participate!
What a fun little game! Really enjoyed it.
I haven't gotten super deep in but SEBBY THIS IS SO IMPRESSIVE!! the world, level design, functionality and OH MY GOD the sounds are just -chefs kiss-. It's such a good submission and I'm so amazed by it! I'll play a bit more soon but I needed to tell you that you did a phenomenal job!
Great job for your first entry. Well build world and nice idea with flower quest. The player want to explore the all map. I saw few bugs, like the problem with GUI on wide screens, rain from top bar and the tools only working from sides. The graphics can be more uniform like the character is different than other npc, the dog is in yet another style. It will be better if player can change tools by for example numbers on keyboard and hold space for gather. Nice to see dialog system with option :)
thank you so much for playing and for your feedback!
I had a lot of fun exploring, collecting resources, and helping out the villagers with their quests. This is quite a big world, and so many different quests! The simple controls help a lot, and the good writing is a real plus for a game that has a lot of text.
I really like the sunset effect! Unfortunately, I found walking around at night time quite difficult. You might want to try increasing the contrast. (This was a challenge for me, too.)
I would have appreciated a few more sound effects. Most of the tools don't have a sound effect, and there isn't a sound when picking an object up. A bit of music would also have been nice.
Note that the X to close the dialog was appearing in the wrong spot for me. It probably needs to be anchored in the top right of the panel. (As an aside, this button doesn't seem to work.)
I’m so glad you enjoyed playing. Thanks for the valuable feedback!
