  • Scrolling bug, you know about it. This game sorely lacks particle effects and sound effects, they do a lot of the legwork in keeping the player invested in the gameplay loop. I would also recommend adding upgrades. I commend the small animations in each stage, as well as the game world becoming smaller in comparison to the tree, it was punchy and impactful.

Had a good time racing a friend to the "end" of this fun little clicker game nice visuals and very fun "Easter egg"

Very colourful and  interesting art for the tree as well as the surroundings and menu. I clicked, it grew, and nice little effects happened. The only thing I would wish for would be a couple more spells, but over all nice submission

This game's art looks super cohesive and I love the artwork. It runs smoothly, plays intuitively, and succeeds at playing with the satisfying-wait-until-the-next-upgrade itch in my brain.

I found the hidden feature within my first few clicks lol and it made checking the game out a lot quicker and VERY satisfying, like I mentioned above.

Very beautiful game, I love the style. Relatively bug free (since there's the thing you won't fix, which is actually great for a game jam game). Not much to say haha! Very well done ^^

I generally like clicker games, this one is really simple, but also pretty enjoyable. There are cool sound effects and mechanics are good for a clicker, nothing groundbreaking, but it's good. Found the bug, which is game breaking when you have certain mouse with certain capability :)

You call it a bug, I call it an easter egg!

I was aware of it, and actually left it in intentionally, because I thought it was fun! :)

I'm not generally a fan of the clicker genre, but this is very cute. I love the tranquil tone and the beautiful color palette.  I enjoyed watching the tree grow from a puny seed to a tree. Each time I got a new wisp, I would wonder what color it would be.

Some of the improvements could use a bit more visual representation. I could only see the wisps and the rifts onscreen ( or else I missed it).

Thank you so much for the kind words!

The mana wells and soil quality are represented with the blue and green particles coming from the bottom respectively. I originally wanted to do more with them, but was limited not only by time, but also the fact that I'd have to draw a well in multiple sizes as the background shifted.

Nice pixel art! I like clicker games, so I went through the game. Unfortunately, I can’t buy more upgrades “at the end”. Good participation!

Yeah, the upgrades intentionally stop working at that point. I originally only wanted gameplay to go to 1 billion mana, but people kept going way beyond that. So my solution was to reward that in some small way, even if you can't really progress from there.
