What a great game. I wish the save worked in-browser because I would have loved to keep taking that journey. Feel like I was getting pretty far. The combination of the thirst, hunger, paranoia and focus systems seem like they must have been tough to balance, but it generally felt pretty fair. The atmosphere and mystery was spot on, and the effects that the ghost put on the player were a nice touch.
My biggest nitpick would be the amount of clicking you have to do for water collection and the crafting system. I found myself running along the river tapping spacebar constantly and then sitting at the computer clicking 80 times to turn water pure and then clicking again a bunch to make the tea and soups. Maybe having an option to craft 10 at a time would have helped, but we can't always do everything in a jam! Overall this was really cool.
This game is really fun! Currently #1 on the leaderboard ;) although it would be cool to see some more stats about people. Unfortunately I died after a few days because i drank the unfiltered water and got really hungry, and struggled to find food (which is my fault lol, im guessing it was progression locked, although some hints that food is later on might be good) Saving would also be very nice so I could try and beat this fully.
I'll definitely come back to this one and update this once I do
Cool game! I liked that you put the objective on the screen!
This is an impressive achievement for a jam game.
Fighting spectres was challenging. I wish they didn't attack me so much from behind! :)
Nice music, too. Atmospheric, though a bit repetitive.
Including the controls on the game page itself would be very helpful for anyone who forgets.
Unfortunately I got stuck every time I went into the inventory. I couldn't resume the game, and pressing Tab did not work. I suspect this has something to do with the browser, but I'm not sure.
Also, I was not able to save--I was just getting an error message. See below:
