I certainly like the concept of the game, having a moving base you can adjust the speed of and fight off enemies on the move. It's like a more violent Oregon Trail lol.

Like other commenters I assume the speed adjustment was meant to have more use but you didn't have time to finish it, same with the depots, since I noticed the counter on the end screen but never encountered any depot.

I could see this being expanded out into a more solid game, with upgradeable carts of various types, maybe something comparable to Last Train Home but with top down shooting.

Good work, especially for what looks like your first game!

Nice work! I'm not sure what the purpose of adjusting the speed of the train is, maybe that was something that was intended to play more of a role but you ran out of time?

Anyway really nice work, seems like you laid the ground work for what could be a cool game.

I know it's late, but I made a small update that fixed some bugs, optimized the motion system and updated the interface (I could have added it earlier, but I was too lazy :))

I really like the idea, the vibe of protecting your moving "base". I like the turrets slowly rotating to your cursor, it makes them feel heavy and powerful. Looks like this is your first jam, congrats.
