Just made my let’s play on your game as a regular player (so it’s without voice comments). I hope it will be useful for you to see how fresh players might start your game for the first time :) I’ll provide text comments later, probably after finishing the videos for the other projects :)
Hi!
Played the demo for a bit and have some thoughts!
- The mechanics are tight and responsive. I always imagine that implementing boat/water vehicles are hard to implement since we're less used to them in real life than say cars/just running around. In this case, I think you did a great job at handling the controls. It reminded me a bit of the sea parts of AC Odyssey, which is the only aspect of that game that I enjoyed.
- Very very good 3D look, rare to see such polish in an indie title. The machine design and colors of the world are really well chosen and fit perfectly with the cartoony vibe.
- UI is very pretty to look at, but I found it a bit hard to navigate. Specially after the first battle when you start adding new pieces to the boat. It reminded me a bit of Borderlands. I imagine it must be hard because there's a lot of info to manage.
- Related to the last point: I love how you can customize and add new pieces on the boat/war machines, not sure how to call them.
You've got a great game here! I would love to play this in multiplayer with friends.

Lots of fun! I also love the way that everything looks so cartoony!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
overall fun: Pretty game with complete mechanics, well done! I'd love to see battles with more enemy ships and higher difficulties.
ui: clean and easy. Love the duck
art: nicely done and looking sharp
sound/music: sounds are great. The game could use an epic music though
Thanks for the feedback, we definitely want to buy more music when we get the budget
