Hey guys! I tried to make a gameplay video for you but on the 15th minute playing my PC got BSOD and thus footage was ruined:
Dunno why’s that but it was first time it behaves that way :D Windows 10 64bit 144hz monitor (and 144 fps in the game), maybe it helps you somehow :) I was on the second mission, just got the fourth gun.
The playlist for this Fest is here btw: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKr8RsbOJbwy1YfpIzdpHLyfOPmjsDZvr
Hello, thanks for playing my game!
Btw did you start the fight with the huge lava turret? That is the only one that might cause problems because he shoots a lot of bullets and your PC might be overwhelmed. Could you write your PC specs here? Such as GPU, CPU and RAM?
Also was your gameplay on the browser version or downloaded one?
Yes I suppose I did exactly that.
I played the downloaded version for Windows, this build:
Perhaps you had the game on the same drive as the one where the recording was being written? That's all I can think of, I've had similar problems with lots of games where I had the game and the recording on the same drive and I was playing and recording at the same time. Also if that drive is used for the operating system as well that is even worse and can make it crash.
Well nope :)
I have separate SSDs for video recording and for the games I played. The operating system is on the same drive I run the video recording program, but I never met BSOD before. Well I made more than seven hundreds videos for now, so I think it’s kind of decent statistic :)
Well probably u can just limit the amount of simultaneously shot projectiles for your boss in that mission? :)
The kind of wacky that makes for great fun. The background music is pretty good. One thing that I'd like to see would be more bullet patterns. The difficulty makes the game easily enjoyable, but it would be cool to have more patterns and destructible projectiles.
Hey there, thank you for playing my game! I'm glad that you liked it! <3
For now this is only the Alpha version but more enemies with different bullet patterns will come in the future. Also destructible enemy projectiles are surely on the "To do" list. (maybe even ones that will follow you around)
Super fun game!
Overall fun: I had lots of fun playing this game. its like a mix between doom and borderlands, whats not to love!
UI: UI is clean and small, cant really fault it.
Art: Art is super basic, but consistent. I think it could be improved by adding some higher detail textures or models for things in the map maybe?
Sound/Music: Very fun disco loops!
Thank you for playing my game! I'm glad that you liked it! <3
I liked this game a lot! This game resembles me a serious sam from time to time. You can try adding some craziness to your game either
As I see code, meshes,ai and mechanics have been taken from unity open projects - nevertheless you have made a great job. Level design is sufficient for having fun and explore a little, and some traps took me completely off guard!
Hey, thank you for playing! Glad you liked it! <3
Lots of assets for landscapes and enemies are ready for the game, they just need to be integrated and tweaked for the future updates! Also there will be more than egyptian zones to explore!
For now everyone can enjoy this Alpha version. The following levels will also be improved with new assets: The Vault, Desert Ruins. They will be enhanced with better models also the levels will be enlarged but they will keep their base idea to feel familiar.
I love this game, to think it was made by one person, and still gets update! it's defiantly promising, I look forward to what the dev has planed an will do in the future. everyone should play this
Hey, thanks for playing my game! Glad you liked it! <3
Impressive this is running on a browser. Generally straightforward fps fun. I found the music could get a little grating after a little while, and a lot of the rooms have a pretty open layout with not a lot of navigation/cover options. If the enemies had slow moving projectiles it might be more fun to try strafing and dodging in the kind of environment.
Thanks for playing! More enemies with slow moving projectiles are planned for the future, for now there are some skull turrets with slow moving projectiles in the "Grave Situation" level.
I'm not a big FPS gamer, but I think I did ok in the game :) I liked the variety of weapons, and that I could hold the mouse button down to fire instead of rapidly clicking.
It was sometimes hard to figure out where I was getting shot from, but that's probably due to my lack of FPS skills..
Hey, thanks for playing my game!
A tip that I could give you is that in FPS games you can figure out where enemies are shooting from by sound, if you have a surround speaker system or stereo headphones.
Worked well even in the browser - if in full screen mode! Before that I couldn't turn around much, as the mouse only worked while in the window...
I'm not such a big fan of shooting games, and given that the setting is kind of wacky, I expected some wacky and fun intro. Starting right in the middle of the action without quite knowing whom to shoot and what to do, wasn't ideal. Graphics are a bit inconsistent, but smooth.

Hey, thank you for playing my game! In the browser version the graphics are indeed inconsistent but in the downloadable one they are all fine and fit together well.
Also I have to mention that this is still an ALPHA version and everyone's feedback will be used to improve the final product! (the game will have a short goofy intro and a story that helps make sense of the whole action)
So this might not actually be unbiased thoughts since I wasn't exactly the biggest fan of Shoot-em-up games but since you have given every game in the jam a "shot", I figure I should extend a bit of an exception and give your game a "shot" too.
That being said, this game is definitely fun if you enjoy the quick shoot-em-ups with each level having a variety of unique stages to go through but the conditions for going through them aren't exactly up to my snuff. I don't feel like needing to repeat Enigma Dragon's feedback since the thoughts Enigma gives holds more value than me and is virtually the same in retrospect. (I constantly lost couple of times since I got hit by enemies within long range and wasn't used to the controls and camera. [That's how noob I am at shoot-em-ups])
I gave the game a bit of my time but after playing it for a bit, I still realized that I can't force myself to just like playing the game. Shoot-em-ups aren't for me. But I do hope others find enjoyment in such a game since you put quite a significant amount of effort in not just the overall layout designs but also the 3d environments and the secrets within.
Thank you for playing my game!
Feedback Notes:
- Very fun game. The fast-paced action got me very immersed in it!
- The core gameplay loop is strong. Shooting, moving, weapons and magic all feel good.
- Level design was a varied affair. Some of the levels felt a bit tedious since their layout implied (walk forward to this distant location and don't die).
- Enemy AI is good, but probably needs a little more variance as this game evolves. The general old-school FPS strategy of circle-strafe all day seems to generally work here. Also, you can exploit the max aggro range of many enemies, effectively turning whatever you current weapon is into a sniper rifle.
- The Christmas level felt a bit bland with no weapon besides my starting one. Switching through a set of gun feels pretty good, especially with the small clips on some of them.
- Progress UI was very helpful for indicating about how long a level would be and where the enemies are. That's actually a nice improvement from some classic shooters.
- Wish I could have rebound the magic buttons. They didn't feel convenient to press. Maybe that's an inherent struggle with needing to trigger them with the left-hand, when the right-hand on the mouse is doing most of the shooting action.
Those are a bunch of my thoughts. Really fun game!
Hey, thank you for playing! I'm glad that you liked it! <3
I also wanted to let you know that the Christmas level has 2 weapons + a secret one. (I saw now that the walking Santa is missing from the current build and will be fixed in the next one, he also grants 1 weapon). One of the first weapons that you get is right under the big gingerbread man from the start, it is in the form of a spinning present box. Hint: One of those balconies has a surprise for you.
Yeahhh this is great!! Love the combo of big sci fi guns and wacky magic spells! Egyptian tombs and architecture with a starry space sky is already so iconic. I got just a few thoughts:
When you get hit, I think having the whole screen turn red is kinda distracting, maybe you could make it so that it's just a red glow on the sides instead? That way it's clear you got hit, but it doesn't distract from the action. Also, adding an icon that shows where the last hit came from would come in handy, especially in the larger, more open levels.
I think the FOV was just slightly too low for my tastes, adding a way to adjust it would be pretty neat! I know some FPS fans like to really crank it up LOL
The game's overall difficulty feels a bit too high, like for example there's a lot of strong enemies at every corner even in the first level, maybe you could have a few selectable difficulties that have less enemies on easier modes and more on hard.
Overall, this one's really cool, fun to play, and I'm excited to see what's next!!
Hey, thanks for playing it! Glad you liked it! <3
This is only the Alpha version and for the future there are planned 3(or more) difficulty levels as well as a FOV slider. There will also be a life system with checkpoints so that death is not so harsh.
Also the game will feature more zones than just Egypt, it will have way more maps and there is also a nicely planned short story for it, to make sure that every action makes sense.
Oooo awesome!!

QUICK TIP: Make sure to play the downloadable version for better performance and quality!
Also if you want just to watch, you can see the gameplay of my best level here:
This is cool! A retro FPS with magic and guns. Great concept and well executed. Nice work!
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Honestly, I wasn't even able to start to playing this - the frame rate is REALLY low. I think I was having fun shooting the fireballs though!
Hello, you should try playing the downloadable version, the browser version is there just to make lazy ppl actually give it a try xD.
The real deal is with the downloaded version.
