Wow! I like Wild West themed games and other media. JoJo Steel Ball Run is one of my favourite arcs in JoJo! Sunset Riders and Cowboys of Moo Mesa are my favourite arcade games. Red Dead Redemption is GREAT! And it looks like I have a new favourite Wild West game!

Yes! Thank you so much! I probably spent the equivalent of a college savings fund in quarters on Sunset Riders and Cowboys of Moo Mesa as a child! You're the first person I've met that has actually played the latter!

It's truly an honor to be placed among such esteemed games, and I hope that the rest of the game lives up to your expectations :)

The wild west is a very original setting for a RPG, you don't get to see it very often. And boy, you're pulled into the story right from the start and it's relentless, very nice! It also serves as a nice tutorial for the many features that battles have to offer. Lots of different visual effects are a nice touch too. I also liked how some of the info is actually given by the main protagonist explaining how things work to the kid, good idea. Great job so far, good luck for the full game!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm really glad that the mechanics and tutorials were conveyed well, and I'm glad you liked the touch of having the protagonist being the one who explains the mechanics instead of the other way around

I played the game until after the first boss (?) that appeared after the tavern and had a duel with the player.

The game seems very polished overall, and the different combat moves and types were pretty cool. The graphics was also really cute.

In the intro cutscene, I noticed that the ox/buffalo were a little more pixelated than the trees in the distance, so that was a little odd. The chat with the widow and the 2 gunslingers was interesting, and I was really rooting for the widow to be the main character, and/or shoot at the gunslingers. Unfortunately, she was only the damsel in distress :(

Overall, I think this is a great game, and could be well suited for people who love the genre :)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the combat!

Some of the graphics (like the buffalo) are still place holder, but it's on the list of things that need to get cleaned up :)

Yeah, the widow isn't the protag, but as you get further in the demo, you'll find some great female heroes that will join the team and have a ton of depth themselves.

I honestly can't come up with any way of improving this game. This game promises a Wild West themed RPG and it certainly delivers. The duels are a nice addition to separate it from other RPG's. I'll certainly have to come back to this one after trying out some more games.

Thanks so much! I hope the rest of the game is able to deliver on that promise and you continue to enjoy it! Keep me updated if you ever return to the world!

The downloadable demo only contains Chapter 1 (about 2 hours of gameplay). But if you like it and want more, contact me (here, Twitter, or Discord), and I can pass you the conversion file that will give you access to all 4 Chapters currently available (about 10 hours of total gameplay).
