This was a really polished game with a really interesting mechanic. I loved the story mode too, it seemed to fit in nicely with the gameplay and didn't seem forced. The color mechanic and "what-does-what" is a bit hard to grasp though. I watched a youtube video of you playing the game beforehand, so I had a notion of how it worked, but i still found myself a bit unsure when i was playing it myself. Lovely game though, and really well put together!

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you liked the game. I agree that the mechanics could be better explained and/or have more obvious feedback. The tutorial at the very least will be getting another coat of polish at some point in the future.

Shooting + screenshake reminded me of a Vlambeer game (which is good in my books). Excellent setup for mood.

In survival mode, my stats were cut off slightly on the left after I died. Thought there could have been more of a pause, or a confirmation button, to go into a level as it loaded before I could read the blurb about it.

Thanks for the feedback. I will have a look at the chapter select to make it more user friendly, a confirm button could be a good addition. The stats screen sometimes shows up perfectly and sometimes is askew. Didn't have time this jam to fix it, but it's on the list.

Hey really nice, the story mode was well done in terms of the little snippets of text and pictures etc.  Once I did the tutorial I had a lot of fun taking out the portals and using all the different weapons.  It was genuinely fun!  I think the camera shake was fine, but the automatic zooming was the only problem, when it zoomed right in you couldn't see what was going on, I'd say vastly reduce the difference between the max zoomed in and zoomed out view - seeing more of the screen was much better.  When I survived for the 2 minutes, I was really expecting for the little picture to become coloured in to tell me I had finished the level, as it was it just kicked me out and I wasn't sure if I'd done it or missed something.  Really nice game though!

Thanks for commenting. I definitely need to add more feedback for winning and losing, that'll be one of the next pushes I do. I will make some improvements to the camera system. Trying to make a dynamic camera might have been biting off more than I can chew :P

Glad you like the weapons. There will be more in the future.

Teach the camera some manners

Do you mean regarding the screen shake or how it moves otherwise? I'm open to suggestions. The default screen shake has been reduced in the latest version though.
