How long has this Project been going?
We've been working for a few months to turn a game jam prototype into a something we can release. We didn't quite get it ready for the end of the jam, but we managed to get a 99% complete demo.

We'd really appreciate any feedback on the game, how it runs and if you think it could be polished up to releasable standard. Thanks for playing everyone!

Tried again on my Mac Mini, but got an error. First, I had to give the Unix binary permissions, but then I got the following messages:

dlopen /Users/monty/Downloads/CherryCreekDemo_osx64/cherrycreekdemo.app/Contents/MacOS/./../Versions/64.0.3282.119/nwjs Framework.framework/nwjs Framework: dlopen(/Users/monty/Downloads/CherryCreekDemo_osx64/cherrycreekdemo.app/Contents/MacOS/./../Versions/64.0.3282.119/nwjs Framework.framework/nwjs Framework, 257): no suitable image found.  Did find:

Hi, thanks for trying the other builds.  They are  pretty experimental as I did no testing whatsoever (I had no way to test either of them).  I am hoping to get some testers on board to try and figure out these issues before we move past the demo stage.   I was sort of expecting the Linux build to fail, but was hoping the Mac one would be OK.  Back to the drawing board I guess!

How do I run it with Linux? I tried the NaCL helpers, but got plenty of Zygote errors (so, the ChromeOS + Android integration is finally happening!?) Looks beautiful!

Oh my. This is most definitely one of the best games in the jam. I spent an insane amount time on this. I kept completing a level and then thinking "Ok, time to stop, I have to go to sleep" and then playing another level. Amazingly addicting and the menus, art, sound, music, and just absolutely everything here is perfect.

Well polished and beautiful art. When I first clicked a pathway off near a tree and watched it wither away, it surprised me and I thought, "Oh no, what have I done?!"

Admittedly, the casual level was still tough. Have you considered even easier levels with fewer trees for newcomers to the game? Or a hint option?

I was considering a  smaller'Tutorial' difficulty level actually, although the casual levels are easy if you use tile-locking.  I think my biggest challenge is how to explain the locking mechanic to players and make sure they understand.

Agreed, tile locking was something I started using later on while playing the game. Always tough to make a tutorial that doesn't come across as a pure tutorial as well too.

Very enjoyable. A polished game, well done!

Nice, I love your color pallet!
