Interesting concept - if you get into polishing it, could become a very interesting variation of the classic! But man, that window was huge!

Thanks :)

Was pretty funny when my cube starting rotating. Would love to hear some sound effects on the bounce back!

Thanks for your feedback :)

It needs more polish, but actually it could work - the idea of a 3D pong game that plays up the comedy effect of the physics.  I would have like some kind of indication when a point was scored (normally the game resets and the player who conceded gets to serve again).

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, the game needs more polish , but as I had no idea of how to make a 3D game there are a few annoying thing in this game :)

lol thanks for the feedback :)

My cube rotated and I was like "that's a nice idea" then it kind of fell forward and stopped rotating. During 2 player mode I had one player stand on the left corner and just let the ball keep going between the right wall and the bottom one. Free points!
I think you shouldn't have the "paddles" move without rotating and lock one of their axis so they won't rotate forward (and get stuck). Having them slide while rotating looks weird.

thanks for your feedback

It still needs a lot of work but the iffy physics turn it into an amusing playground in 2 player mode.  I managed to get the ball to push the players onto the opposite sides of the board.

Developer

thanks for playing :)

Is the AI working ? When I play it barely moves at all.

Developer

it is working but as I am kind of new to programming the ai sucks:)

I love how simple, but vibrant colors work! The last time I played it html version would drastically shift to the left, recommend checking it.

Developer

thanks

It's a cool game!

thanks :)!

I don't know why but something about the movement combined with the music makes this game hilarious to me.

Developer

that is great :)!

I just tried it. It's crap.

At least it is at the moment, why did you submit this already? There is still a lot of work to be done and the FFS Jam is all about finishing a project you've been working on. This is far from finished. It hasn't been started yet.

I was thinking of starting to work on a 3D game and I dont have a lot of time so I can work on my games only in weekends and free days. As the first day of the year is free I was able to make this small game. Thanks for your feedback , I will try to inprove my games in the future :).

Don't listen to people like that. The game is not perfect and not very feature-rich, however it is something, and definitely a good point to be going forward!

Developer

Thanks Alex!

Disagree, it may not be much of a game, but it is a game. How good it actually is is of course another matter.

Submitted

I can see why you would disagree, however this is a submission to the "Finally Finish Something" jam. Does this qualify as "finished"?

Submitted(+1)

Yes.  I can download it, launch it and play it :-)
My point here is that the author has made something  and this already is more than what most people who want to make games have accomplished :-D and instead of bashing him for not doing anything we should praise his accomplishment (as tiny as it may seem for some more experienced people) and show him where he can grow it to be a good game. After all he is not posting the game on steam to cash in on the trading cards :-)

Submitted

Ok, I can follow. I didn't mean to bash him, the word "crap" was too harsh? I wanted to tell him to take what he's got and make something of it. Working "one day" on something is not putting effort in, or accomplishing anything, that's just trying something out. It was a good start, now finish it for the Finally Finish Something jam.
