We started this game in September 2020. We decided to make this game because we wanted to experiment with Godot's multiplayer API. We worked on the game mostly on weekends and holiday breaks without any real idea of when we would finish. The game is still not truly complete, but we have reached a version that we feel really showcases our original vision.

Hey this is a really cool, if not bewildering, idea!  I don't have anyone to play with so I was just scootin around eatin asteroids and trying to steal from the big space station(?).  I made a little drill ship, mostly through trial and error.  There was alottttttt of information on screen, so without any explanation it was pretty hard to tell how to do things, or what I needed.  I think this would be a really cool mission based rpg that starts you off introducing some mechanics/materials/equipment slowly then setting you free after a bit to construct and explore as you want.  The construction and navigation was really impressive, but the 100ap felt pretty restrictive with how large the map was.  I thought my generator or thrusters would increase that but I didnt really notice a difference.  I can totally see what you were going for, and there's alot to play with, I just think it needs another pass for quality of life/readability/fun factor.  Oh also the music was great and really set a good atmosphere, some of the other sound effects did sorta clash with it though.

Thanks so much for playing!!!  The game is only really fully playable for parties of 2-4, but I appreciate you taking a look!

I agree that the game can be unclear about what to do.  We’ve actually talked about creating a wiki for the game if we were to move forward with the project to help clarify how all the mechanics work.  This is of course on top of making the game itself more intuitive.

The spacestation in cannot be mined until turn 15.  And the 100 AP count is meant to be a restriction on the length of your turn in a multiplayer game.  The thrusters and other tiles you can build reduce the AP costs of certain actions (like moving, shooting, etc).

Thanks for checking it out!!!
