Had an idea of a rhythm based dance game for a while and we started working on a prototype in July last year and here we are.

The idea is amazing but I didnt really enjoy the songs :< I think you should add more songs and keep working, this game really brings lots of joy!
Fun game! I enjoyed playing. I loved the particle effects and the concept of this game. An overall satisfying experience getting on beat. I LOVE the fact that it's original music. It makes it that much more meaningful and authentic. Also brings you more control over how you want to create the rhythm and player interaction since you decide how you want the music to play out. Everytime I got struck, it was like a knife through my heart xD. Felt like I never wanna make a mistake ever again haha
Thank you very much for playing!! Glad you liked it. :)
Hey!! what a great take over this concept
I really enjoyed the music and the atmosphere you managed to create....the strike sound was a little too much in my opinion, the sound was so intense it just made getting back in the groove a little difficult... a great game tho!! kudos.
PLease check out my game to...Thnaks!
Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback! We'll think about doing something else with the strike sound in the future.
Severely underrated game that needs more attention. First off, massive props to you for not only being able to create a smooth, original rhythm game mechanic, but also create orignial music that works for it.
I really really liked the atmosphere of this game. Even though it was a stick figure, he was so well animated that over time I didn't even notice. In fact, I think it adds the games charm. The lighting and effects really make this feel like a performance, and also the way different colored notes correspond to different instruments almost made me feel like a DJ playing the song! So neat!
The only thing I can suggest changing is the strike sound. I totally get you were going for one that would be heard over the music, but I think this one kinda jolts the player out of the expierence and makes it a little hard to get back in the groove. Maybe you could go for a sound that kinda matches the dance theme (record scratch? Crowd booing?), and make it more visual than loud! Like the whole stage goes red for a sec or something.
Aside from that, awesome job. My favorite track was Fireflies. Such a catchy tune!!!!

Thanks a lot for this!! Glad you liked it. :)
Changing the strike sound is a great suggestion. We'll definitely think about making it better.
I really like the stick figure dance moves and the general cool visuals and music that set the mood for the game ! WooooooooooOooO!
Please check out my game ! :D Escape Path Beta
I really like the visual effects and representation! Your game is so cool and satisfying :D
Just played it, I really like the visual aspect as well as the way the player dances and all the flashing lights and everything else in the background. My only thing is that at some points it didn't feel like I wasn't trying to stay on beat and more of just trying to catch circles with some background music if that makes sense, it reminds me of a different take on guitar hero in a sense which I liked, great job!
Thank you very much for the feedback! We're glad you like it. I get what you mean and we'll definitely work on making that part better.
