Worked on this for a little less than a month. There isn't any sound (yet) but I hope you guys enjoy playing it all the same ^_^

Didn't play for long but i don't think i could even if wanted to(currently).
With no audio there's no impact , hopefully this is going to be addressed accordingly in the future.
The controls are very weird, why do i have to use the arrow keys for attack,faster speed? it would be good if there was an option to customize this as not every can play with these controls.
Let's say that Sword Slash is Z
Rock Throw is X
Faster Speed is double D [Press 'D' Twice]
The graphics are all over the place,with no consistency going on making it an utterly mess to look at in a sense , you such stick with 1 asset pack if possible.
I really like the idea of rock throwing, especially since you had a snake on a janking falling platform.
Where the snake on the falling platform is not sure if you can jump on the platform without bumping on the upper platforms, give more freedom to jumping + speed up in that area.
Also it would be good if rocks were more limited so people don't spam rock throw.
Also if you could be kind enough to check my submission i would appreciate that very much and sorry if i was a little harsh on the review,it's good to know your flaws and possible improvements.

I really did a poor job planning for this jam, and ended up rushing to stick something together.
But I've been regularly updating this project and plan on finishing it. The current version has customizable keybingings and sound.

I played your updated version with the sound effects. Animations, mechanics and the visuals are very promising. The controls though, I agree with others, messed with my head a lot. And I think it's because both A, D and the left right arrow keys are intuitively for moving to a direction, so I think it would be best to change the skill controls to different keys than arrows.
I really appreciate the feedback! I see that I might have made a mistake with the control scheme, but rest assured; I'll be adding a custom key binding setup in the next update. If there's anything else that may need polishing or fixing be sure to let me know!
Nice platforming mechanics! I loved the details with the rock throwing and idle animations! The backgrounds look great too for the map. At first, I wished there was a way to aim the rocks instead of just controlling their power, but the more I played, the more I appreciated the extra challenge of not being able to aim. Interesting mechanic with that one!
I will concur with the other comments that sound design is definitely a must here, and that the controls aren't quite ideal. Personally, my suggestion would be to switch running to right shift and attack to left arrow, but with a game that has so many different controls, I think everyone would have different preferences. It might be worth looking into how to make it so you can rebind the keys. That way everything can pick!
With gameplay, like I said, the platforming is great! Nice job with the level design. The only thing I had a slight combination of issues with the enemies. First off was the lack of health pick ups, the second was the lack of cool-down between enemy attacks, and third was the enemies tendency to spawn in the way without warning. On their own, these are all interesting aspects that could add to the challenge. But combined together, they made the levels feel a bit impossible. In particular, the combination of the spawning and the lack of cooldown would make it so I'd just be running, a snake would spawn right on top of me, and before I could even escape, it would drain all four of my health and I'd have to start over. But by tunning one or two of these issues, I think it'd help a lot and really add to the game!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I hear you loud and clear. I'll add customizable controls to the next patch. The enemy spawns and health rewards are rushed and a little buggy, but I should be able to fix those easily! I really appreciate you being so honest with your experience.
I really liked the animations and character designs here, and I think everything felt very responsive. I think some sound effects could really help here, but nice work!
