- This is a solid submission. I think the art and music work well. Aside from having an end goal, I think one thing this game suffers from is the random nature that objects fly at you. Especially with the fireballs, a lot of the time you'll end up in a situation where if you have the small shield you just have to take a hit. A fix I might suggest is instead of having the big shield only be activatable when the meter is full, maybe holding the button at any time makes the shield big but drains meter, so you can use it whenever you want but can't spam it. Other than that go, solid submission.
- Cool game, the bigger shield was nice. The game felt really easy but with sometimes impossible combinaison of stuff being thrown at you from opposite sides of the map, making it impossible to block, so it felt like a lot of luck was involved, since the game was easy and when I would lose HP it was because of an impossible combinaison.

BG game music was not created by me but credited on title screen. SFX are mine though.

I like it. There’s a weird point where you need the large shield but it doesn’t last long enough to really save you, but overall great game, nice retro feel, and I could see me playing this to kill a lot of time in my life.
It does get a little complicated trying to balance the shield between all the projectiles the higher up in level you get. I think a little blast when the projectiles hit the castle would be a nice touch. Otherwise it's an effective mini game.
