- I didnt really understand how the healing worked.
- This entry has a creative setting. I think there's something about the core design that rubs me the wrong way though. I understand the idea that you're a white blood cell using your body to protect your host, but taking hits over and over again feels bad even though it's what you're supposed to do. Maybe giving the player something like a shield state where once it's powered up you deflect attacks invincibly but can't move. Something to make it feel like you're more actively protecting. I also have a big problem with how the health regen system works. When you're actively healing and release the button you stop healing immediately, but there's a huge window where you're still in the healing state technically so you get hit and lose all that progress. Instead of trying to time my heals correctly, it really felt like I just had to let the host take hits so I could heal, which didn't feel very good either. Getting rid of that delay would make things a lot better. Overall, cool idea that I think could use just a few tweaks to get the gameplay feeling much better.
