  • Unfortunately, I couldn't play this one for more than a few seconds. I'm really not prone to motion sickness, but playing it at full screen made the cameras wild swinging with black background made me feel sick. The camera definitely needs some easing on it, and maybe some background elements like stars and planets to help you keep yourself oriented. Aside from that the gameplay seemed to work and the art looked nice, it's just a shame I couldn't fully get into it

I like the weird perspective a lot ngl I just wish there was a sound when a shot hit the core and when you died it sent you back to the main menu. Just some little nit picks

This is fun. The perception is strange at first, but after a while it becomes great. The music fits well. The only problem is the black screen after the game is over. Everything else is very good.

This is ridiculously cool to play. An interesting quirk of the game (I wouldn't even call it a bug, it doesn't detract from the gameplay) is that if you reflect a bullet but that bullet doesn't collide with the ship that fired it, it travels forever and stays on the minimap for a hot minute. I tracked one of these down to see what it was and my core was still alive when I got back, which suggests the difficulty should probably ramp up at some point, but this is balanced very well as a jam game.

I do actually have a dormant system for difficulty, didn't have time. If you stick around, and pay me some money  I'm touching this game up afterwards.

The perspective is really unique and fits the space setting. I also appreciate the mini-map!

I also ran into the same black screen issue that StevePixelFace posted about though. Other than that, I had a lot of fun playing!

Developer

thank you! I achieved accidentally, actually, by not setting the camera to a conventional resolution

Really like the audio and visuals. Has a nice polished retro aesthetic.

I did get a black screen after dying with no way to restart but could just be the laptop I was playing it on.

Great job!

I think it was over 1000 just before I hit the game over. Going to play it again when I get some free time, see if I can beat it.
