- The retro feel was cool, I liked the concept but I'm not sure it was well exploited in the level design. It seemed like a puzzle game or a platformer, I wasnt sure. It doesnt feel that there was really a strategy, you would reach the end then hit yourself until it's enough. The jump was WAY too fast making it hard to control, plus some jumps were super thigh and I was unable to make them for no reason and then I would be lucky and I would jump high enough. I gave up on I thin the 4th level, because there was a cannon that would just hit me back to back removing all my HP without having anything I could do. I wonder if there's something that is framebase in the way you implemented or something ? Maybe it was faster on my computer ? It didnt feel intented, it felt almost like a bug.

I really like the idea of your health being your size. Good gam
some interesting puzzles in there!
Controls were a little tight, but I love the use of the theme!
The jumping controls feel too twitchy to me, and the last level was pretty confusing, but otherwise I think you approached the concept of a size-change platformer quite elegantly.
The game is very frustrating in a way I don’t know if it was intended or not. I beat all the levels though.
The final jump on stage 3 is too high and doesn’t work most of the time. The cannons just change their speed every shot? So they will shoot a slow shot and follow it up with a fast one and you will get hit by both because the player has no invulnerability frames where they get to move. The sound effects are too loud compared to the music and there is no way to adjust them.
I feel like the difficulty never actually comes from the main growth mechanic, just the curve of the jump, the ceilings spiking you downwards on impact and the cannons calculating the perfect shot speeds to combo you for all your lives.
Fun!
