Concept was fun, but it was a little too hard. As you need to climb vertically I think it would have been nice to allow us to see a little more, a lot of things are unavoidable because you don’t see what’s coming. You can also reduce the collision on the magikarp so it doesn’t touch things so easily.

If your intention was a rage game I think you succeed...

I liked your game idea, but the lack of a indicator of the falling enemies, the unfair hit boxes, the jump not responding even if we smash the space bar and the annoying sound effects spoils grand part of the fun 😓

Despite that, good job finishing and releasing for your third game! Congrats!

it was indeed not my initial goal to make a rage game even tho i kinda leaned on it at the end, but even so you're right the hitboxes are unfair and falling ennemis needed indicator (i'll keep in mind for my future games).

Music and sound is also something i seriously need to work on.

I had a bit of an issue with the jump. sometimes Magikarp wouldn't jump even though I was spamming the space bar. Additionally, I missed some visual representation before the enemy attacks. However, overall, the game is very promising and despite these little issues, I found it very enjoyable :)

I would love this game. but i hate it because the hitbox is just poorly executed. Make the magikarp sprite bigger or the hitbox smaller!

Congrats on making your third game! Quite fun, though I do think the hitboxes are a bit unfair sometimes, frustrating dying even though it doesn't look like I touched anything.

oh man this game is so hard! it's like a Dark Souls version of Doodle Jump lol

it's great the respawn is so fast because I must have died a hundred times! I did have to turn the sound way down after a while haha
