There's no such thing as the... what was it called again?

Jokes aside, I love the premise of antimemes and I'm glad to see them here. Breaking into a laboratory run by CYCLOPS and dedicated to studying antimemes is a recipe for player shenanigans and misadventures, in other words a good time. There's decent selection of NPCs to cause trouble for the players; the CYCLOPS hunter and Silent One I feel are good inclusions. The former can cause some interesting encounters with the local wildlife, while the former could be anything from a minor nuisance to a campaign spanning antagonist depending on the GM choices and Player reactions.

The layout is clear and easily readable, however there is a lot of blank space which does leave the document feeling a little empty. I also noticed what seemed to be links within the document, that were supposed to point to NPCs and Items, that didn't work for me. Still, despite these issues, this is looks like one adventure players won't forget, even with the all the Antimemes.

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

I hadn't noticed that the in-document links didn't work, probably some issue from transitioning to pdf. I'll get that fixed once the jam is done, in case that's already affected the existing ratings.

I do see the point about the document feeling empty. It was intended for easier viewing and lower risk of messing the formatting up, however I've come to agree with you and will work on that in future work.

The antimemetics theme is a very cool premise.  I also love the book that served as inspiration for this piece.  It also brings to mind the movie Annihilation.

The layout of your submission is clear and organized.  The text is also clear and concise.

Wondering if you've had a chance to play test this at all?  If so, I'd love to hear more about how the antimemetics play out.  I can certainly see the how each of the new TRAITS could be utilized in play...in any mission, which is cool.  I'm just curious about how a FIST team traveling through this zone would be different from a normal mission while they are there.

Thank you very much for the feedback!

Sadly I didn't have the time nor the playgroup to properly playtest it with people, though I did run a sort of solo test to make sure things aren't unbalanced.

It was initially the intention to also add different effects to the zone's traversal and all, much like in the Mandelbrot Set, but with changes to fit the theme. Time constraints as well as this being my first written... anything in regards to a TTRPG, I wanted to keep it shorter and more contained. I even wanted to add things like tables to generate your own effects, not too dissimilar to the ones found in the FIST book. In the end though I tried to keep it all in a smaller scope. Maybe in the future I'll update it or make a "sequel"
