I'm going to send this along to some family members who are hoping to get licensed to dive. Great work!

Here's a corrected version of the text with spelling and grammar improvements:

Great start! It was fun exploring the depths, and I liked the music shifts and how it gets darker—plus the surprise shark!

I don't think you were able to implement the 'pass out' mechanic, as I tested going straight down and straight up again and didn't see much punishment on the resource management side.

Would love to see the gameplay supported by objectives, goals, missions, or some small story that moves it along.

Overall, a good concept piece!

Hey, thanks for giving our game such a thoughtful playthrough! We made this as our minimum viable product during a 6 day jam. We've been working hard on updates and added features since and are very excited to release an update next month once the jam has fully concluded.

The physics here feel quite well-implemented and the whole thing felt, well, immersive. I definitely felt the pressure on as your oxygen ticks down and goes from green to yellow to red. Plus picking up ocean plastic is a great theme. One thing is I wasn't sure how you know when the decompression stops were supposed to happen and I just ended up ignoring those messages.

Also, possible bug: I got to the surface and it said "You survived the dive" but then the oxygen kept counting down and it said "you died" a few seconds later.

Hey,
Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! We're working hard to get the balance and feel of the decompression just right. We want a balance between the reality of diving, and something more forgiving and fun, as well as UI features that help decompression zones be a bit clearer. As far as that bug, thanks for letting us know, we've already fixed it and will release a new version of "Into the Abyss" next month, after the jam has ended.

Pretty neat game

Hi,
We've been competing internally for high scores. Currently Pat holds the title at 81 items with a 12 minute and 3 second dive time. Let us know if you beat it.
