The composition's is very chill! I can really imagine this track for the image we were given.
(I also read you wanted to create a tracks feeling with the drums, nice idea! I would have used 8th notes closed Hihats with an emphasis on beat and a slight shuffle maybe to re-create the effect).
However I gotta agree with the previous comments regarding the mix; the Guitar's really good & crisp but I think your kick drum clips, especially in the beginning, & the overall mix between the drums & other parts feels lackluster...
Maybe once you're done composing, try to re-balance your tracks to find the sweet spot for each instrument. I usually group the drums and balance each part inside the group (If I don't use loops). afterwards I will balance the group compared to the other instruments & so on.
For the bass, I'd put more emphasis on the low end (As Gullo said) to really make that Bass carry the track along.
Regarding the end, I'd go for a more natural fade out - let that last note play out for really long & make it fade to -inf dB by the end of the to avoid getting this cut.
Hope this helps in some way, I might just like a different taste for mixing :) Great simple piece!
