Since I’ve received a few similar thoughts, I’d like to share my perspective on why the music reverses at the midpoint like a turning point.

The way I envision it in the game is that there’s an item midway that activates a reverse playback mode. While it’s active, time flows backward. In a way, it’s like time travel. The only catch is that it takes the same amount of time to move backward as it did to move forward. So, if you want to go back a day, it’ll take 24 hours.

I composed the track with the idea that even when played in reverse, it still sounds like music and makes it clear that you’re in reverse playback mode.

So, in a way, while listening to that track, you were time traveling.

What do you think? Doesn’t it make you feel like you experienced something special?
