Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous.

  • There's solid base for a game here. Unfortunately, I encountered a lot of bugs in my playthroughs, but I think I managed to see everything there is to see. I won't dwell on the bugs because it's game jam. When something isn't working, you don't need the judge to tell you it needs fixing. Regarding gameplay, the main thing I would suggest is a bit more feedback for the player. At times it wasn't always clear what was next (though I suspect language barrier may have also played a factor). I would also recommend taking a little time to think about unintended player actions. For example, it is possible to walk off of the platform when the arrow is not showing, but when you do that, you fall forever and the game has to be restarted. Obviously it doesn't make sense for a player to walk off the edge, but they will do that, and your game should account for it. Other than that, nice artistic execution and good implementation of the theme. Well done!

Interesting Idea,  definitely makes you think about what not to do (with in the realm of known player sense).  Might want you interactions have either a pop up  UI element or sound effect.

Developer

I started working on that, but didnt have time

The title art is great.

The idea is great, but I think that "learn from failure" is not exploited enough, we could have imagined other ways of dying to have more tools, or something else. Otherwise the music is great and the concept is not bad, the game remains very hard without the clues (or maybe I'm stupid and it's obvious but I didn't succeed the first time) On the other hand, I had a bug in level 2 where the UI disappeared and I fell into the void without being able to do anything

yeah ik, but I just ran out of time  and had to make the idea way smaller than original. And I know there was a LOT of game breaking bugs, but  I didnt have enough time to fix them because of school
