How To Play
In Lunarix you have to build a lunar colony and try to fight off the enemy ships.
This game was made in 48 hours for the Game Dev London x Into Games - GGJ22.

Tutorial:
The game runs in 2 phases.
Combat Phase:
The enemy ships try to destroy your buildings. Click on your guns (orange buildings) and target ships that are in range.
But be careful, there are also allied ships. Use the scanner (cyan buildings) to find out if the ship is attacking you or if it just wants to land. Each allied ship that lands will bring you a new house.
Construction phase:
At the beginning you have to place a house block. Depending on how many allies have landed, you will get bigger blocks (maximum 5).
After that, you can build new scanners and guns. The size (maximum 5) depends on how many houses you have in your supply (see top left).
To start the next Combat Phase click on the "Skip Button".
Hint: The more buildings are connected, the greater the range becomes.

Cool idea, needed more time on telling the player what to do/gun mechanics etc (I could recommend pausing the game whilst the tutorial text popped up so the player doesn't feel rushed. However, the art was good, the music was good, and it felt relatively good to play. Overall a decent submission, good job!
Many thanks.
Yes actually we wanted to include a real tutorial by learning step by step what to do.
But then the time was not enough and so we had to improvise. But at least you can pause the game with ESC. So you can also read the tutorial with no time limit. :D
Love the idea of growing your base from incoming ships, and it gets intense when having to make quick decisions based on your scanning results! The ability to grow the range of your scanner and weapons gives it a good feeling of progression.
The music is well done, too!
A great submission of a technically ambitious project - I hope you're all very proud :)
Thanks a lot for your kind feedback, Harvey :)
I can assure you that the team is proud and happy with how far we got - and we all hope to continue this project!
Great idea!
I feel like the scanner radius could have been larger though.
Thanks :)
To expand the range you can connect more scanners/weapons.
You can also rotate the shapes with the "Q" and "E" keys :)
