Wow, amazing. I don't know how you mange to do all those stuff that's some serious work man. But upgrades, the research, day night system and it's counter bonfire that's amazing man. Unable to put on fire on bonefire though. Visual may need some touch and animation to bring it to more life. Also i will suggest you may go npr also, a little stylized from here. Hope to see a polished version. Love it man.♥
Great start to a very ambitious survival game project! Lots of options and a pretty extensive research tree implemented already which is quite impressive. If you keep working on this, I would prioritize making the "feel" of the game more intuitive, and giving the player more feedback from their actions (both visual and auditory). Sound especially is a really powerful tool to use that I think this game could benefit from a lot. Great job overall though!
Great looking game with a lot of crafting options and variety.
I like the game but I cant open inventory I rate it 8/10
I think this is a great start to a survival game, just needs more time is all. For a solo game jam entry, this was good. I hope you keep at it. One thing you should focus on, if you want to continue this, is a hook. Some mechanic or theme that separates it from the rest. Regardless, its a good entry that fitts the theme well.
Fairly ambitious for a game jam entry and surprisingly well-executed, although it had pretty bad performance issues for me and I ran into trouble the first time night because I didn't know how to light the bonfire. Moreover, the seeming lack of any sound is a let-down. Still, I thought it was pretty good.
...I felt bad attacking the cows though
Thanks for your comment! The performance issues might come from the high render distance i implemented a crude system of LOD but yeah i should implement an option to regulate it. I also made it so you need to light everything by leftclicking with a flintstone on it a few times.
