This game has a really cool look to it and makes great use of light and darkness. However, I wasn't able to leave the first room or place the microphone or camera once I picked them up. Is there something I am missing?

Possibly, we've tried the download on a few machines and everything seemed to work well.

Placing items works by scrolling through your hotbar then pressing E again when looking at a surface. It's possible you where not close enough to to place it.

Their where some bugs with the hotbar early on that we thought we fixed, but in case they're still around you can try picking the items up in a different order, or scrolling when you only have one item.

let me know if you still have the problem

Hey, I got the hot bar working with the item placement. I was just standing too close to the door earlier I think and it kept detecting that instead of placing the items. Thanks for responding.

That makes sense, Thanks for trying again <3

Cool take on the bug theme! Was super unique in it's gameplay and goal of the game.

Thanks! We aimed a little high this jam, and wanted to take the chance on getting used to UE5.

Please note: Game should be fully functional, but some machines may experience FPS drops when using the remote camera. We did some stuff to correct the issue before publishing, but if you do experience any performance issues, just keep the camera in your inventory. The game is designed to be playable without it.

Have fun!
