I like your interpretation of the theme and your puzzle design. The design of kiwi is also very cute!

Great work!

I got first woo!

Awesome work on this. This is now one of my favourite games from this jam.

Super vibey and relaxing despite being about working on a game jam with a team! I love the minimal gameplay. It's very fun to try to strategize based on the jam criteria and the team's requirement. The art and music were also pleasant.

Great work on this. Fun puzzles but not super challenging. I liked the narrator's voice a lot and the art style was very creative. Adding in ladders was a nice way to add more depth. This style of puzzler takes me way back to when I was a little kid haha.

Keep up the good work!

Wow! What a polished and fun time. Very ambitious and fun to play.

I don't have much in the way of the feedback but if you wanted to take the idea further some ranged weapons and other ways to interact with enemies could add a lot of depth.

Love your art and the minimalist character design. It took me a little bit to realize that the weapons have a windup before they swing, but I rather liked the windup once I noticed it.

Awesome job!

Thank you for checking it out!

Thank you so much for checking the game out and for the kind words!

Thank you for the feedback and kind words!

Thank you for checking the game out. Also, thank you for the great feedback, especially about the impact with attacks!

Thank you for checking it out and giving feedback!

Super slick and fun game. Really nice to see a rhythm game in this jam. The tracks you used for the songs are really cool too.

It took me a second to figure out how to play (even with reading the tutorial). But once I figured it out I had a lot of fun.

Great work!

Thank you for taking the time to play and for the kind words!

I think at this point we have to consider the enemy head jumping a bug. I had at least one player unaware that they could knock enemies off and sometimes the enemy is unable to do any damage in this position. It has been a good learning experience for simple enemy AI and platformer combat.

Looking forward to trying your game!

Hi Tyler,

I want to say again, great work on this all around. This was very ambitious and creative. You and your team did a great job.

With the mushroom, I was able to feed it but it didn’t let me jump high enough.

Hope that helps!

I love the koi. Great artstyle. The wall jumping mechanic was very fun.

Great work!

Great spritework! I also really liked your music. That rat was so fast! It kept getting me.

Thank you very much for your great feedback! I will gladly check out your game.

Thank you for checking the game out! It was fun making a directional combat game. Definitely had a few challenges, but I feel like we have learned a lot. Glad you enjoyed the music!

Thank you for checking the game out! Also thank you for letting us know about the bug. Glad you liked the music.

Wow! Thank you for taking the time to do this. I appreciate your feedback!

I will say, the story tends to make more sense if you actually take the time to read any of the text. Also, while I appreciate your stream it was kind of a shame to not hear the music from the game.

Also, good news: the controls and music volume can be accessed in game by pressing the G or M buttons to bring up the menu.

The other feedback was super valid. If we ever revisit this game, sound effects will be high on our list of priorities. The enemy AI is also a bit janky.

Thanks again!

Thank you for checking it out and leaving feedback.

Thank you! I have now followed her. Looking forward to seeing what comes next!

Thank you! We appreciate the kind words.

Thank you for checking it out!

Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to check the game out! Totally viable to just run past all the enemies. I'll have to go back and fix the enemies stuck on head glitch eventually lol.

Cool idea for a game. Would love to see some more variety in the towers and enemies. Your music went very hard and I appreciated the frantic feel of the game. I am curious what your link to the theme of the jam is.

Good work!

Hello friend. Here is Dale Comes to Life a short adventure platformer action game.

The vibes in this game are immaculate. I love the visuals and I really, really love the music. It's super relaxing which I think is important for a fishing game.

The gameplay itself was very calming. I think it could benefit from sort of indication of what fish you caught without going into the inventory, and maybe some sort of visual to go with casting and reeling. That being said, your sound design for the rod sounds was great.

Also, I got a good chuckle catching a marlin and seeing my money go up $20000 from like $300.

Awesome job!

Here is Dale comes to life. A short adventure with some action platforming . You play as a scaly guy who can scale his size up and down who scales a mountain to find a set of scales at one point.

Fantastic writing. I really enjoyed this. The art and music was beautiful as well. From a gameplay perspective I found it really effective how you indicated where to go with the yellow colour.

Thank you for sharing this.

Interesting idea. I like that you can upgrade the guns. The music was nice.

Could benefit from a more clear indication of upgrades and maybe some more fish variety.

Good work!

I loved the cute visuals and witchy aesthetic. The music was very well done as well. Great gameplay. I had a lot of fun. Loved the ending cutscene.

Thanks for submitting this!

Very fun puzzle game. Awesome slick art and relaxing music. I feel lucky to have played so many wonderful puzzle games in this jam.

I really like how you have to think about things like layering machines, or the directions of materials, or the order of how machines put things together.

Very well done!

Always glad to see a fellow connoisseur of Godot and Aseprite! Your art on this game is fantastic, great work with that. In particular, the title screen is gorgeous. I also love the music, wonderful dungeon synth. The UI is also super easy to parse and matches the style of the game.

I think there some bugs with the enemies. It seemed like if I hit one, the damaged animation played on all enemies, and sometimes they wouldn't detect the player character, or would continue attacking in a direction after the player had moved.

Overall, great work!

Thank you for checking it out!

Really cute premise and art style. I appreciate you being open about using AI art. The music was also quite nice.

This is super fun to play. It took me a second to figure out how to actually cast spells but once I did I had a hoot. The art style rules, the animations look good in the minimalist style, and the sound design is nice.

Some music may have added a bit to the immersion and a simple tutorial could also help. However, this is overall very well done.

Great work

This is wildly polished and super impressive! Thank you so  much for including the YouTube video of the playthrough as I am so bad at these sort of games. That being said, this is definitely the kind of game I'd like to get lost in trying to master. The art was excellent, as was the flow of combat. I am a big fan of the music as well.

Awesome job!

Thank you for checking it out! I like including the two sets of controls as while I vastly prefer WASD and a mouse, I know some folks (including I believe my design partner) don't play with one.

I love the pixel art style you did for the visuals. The audio you used was also very nice. The game is tough but in a very good way!

Great job!
