Good job. I had a game on an old Commodore 64 with mechanics likes this. Good old school style and graphics. The music was just right for it.
I liked a lot of the mechanics! I was just playing against myself, but I still had a lot of fun.
Would have loved a very basic AI opponent, even if all they did was attack forward.
Little hard to work out what exactly to do, I think a tutorial would’ve been a huge benefit - the art style and music is great!
Some issues with placement and knowing what units can/can’t do and why they can’t do those things.
