Wow! Thanks so much for the thorough feedback, hugely appreciate it!

Yeah it seems I buggered it a bit on the controls, I guess after hours of playing it every day it’s easy to think things work cuz you’re so used to it - something to bear in mind moving forward :D

Thanks again for the feedback and the kind words! We are indeed new so getting responses like this is super helpful to know where we need to spend time working on. Cheers :)

Oh gosh okay, sorry about that!

Seems quite a few people have had issues pop up which we never had in dev, comes with the territory of being new I suppose :D

Thanks for your interest at least, sorry that the experience didn’t pan out for you!

Grand, defo something to have more of a play with then!

Thanks again for your feedback and taking the time to reply mate, appreciate it :D

Ah - sorry to hear about the controls not working so well for you!

Just to check if you don’t mind replying (if not absolutely no stress!), were you using keyboard/mouse or a gamepad? It was designed with gamepad in mind see so if the gamepad controls feel bad, that’s something I’d definitely want to fix moving forward.

In hindsight we only actually mention this in the descriptions rather than anywhere in game which is very much our bad!

Glad you enjoyed the parts you did; thanks so much for checking it out :)

A nice experience for sure! I got up to the red keycard and after a bit of a wander couldn’t seem to find where to go, but I feel I played enough to get a fairly representitive experience of the game.

Music is nice, reminds me a bit of Metroid Prime!

Gameplay is fairly simple, the zombies(?) felt more like an annoyance than a threat, especially seeing as their audio seemed to constantly cut itself off and play the start of a sound effect.

Dialogue felt pretty silly, not sure if that’s the vibe you were aiming for - but even if not I still enjoyed it! :D

Definitely the bones of something cool here and there’s some nice systems like the inventory, destructable environment etc.

Great job!

Very nice little game! LOVE the crocodile and bunny designs - so cute.

Gameplay loop is good, but sometimes it felt like inputs were being ignored if I were a touch early, maybe some analogue to coyote time being implemented might make it feel a little more responsive?

A mute button/volume options would be nice too as the music is pretty loud.

Great job :D

Not sure if it’s just on my end but having some trouble playing the game in browser, initially input wasn’t working at all, a refresh seemed to fix that - mute never seems to work, and whenever I die I get the victory screen… which admittedly made me feel very skillful ;)

Love the art style and the music, feels very nostalgic to me for some reason!

Definitely a fun little experience overall, and like I said I suspect some of the technical issues might’ve been on my end as refreshing fixed some!

Great job :D

Little hard to work out what exactly to do, I think a tutorial would’ve been a huge benefit - the art style and music is great!

Some issues with placement and knowing what units can/can’t do and why they can’t do those things.

Good job! :D

Really really liked this one, probably my favourite that I’ve played so far!

Very fun gameplay loop and I found myself going back for multiple replays without hesitation. Art style is nice too, got something of a feel of Binding of Isaac to it!

Great job :D

Love the little frog guy! Very cute walking animation.

Nothing groundbreaking but a nice little platformer - Music felt good and frog-esque too :D

A good bit of fun!

A few bugs cropped up during my playthrough that I imagine you’re aware of already (though I’d be happy to drop you a DM with details if you’d like!)

Some more feedback on when the player takes damage would greatly improve the game feel for me, I ended up missing a few hearts without even realising I’d been hit. Cool idea though for sure! Might benefit from the weapons having a slightly more unique identity each too?

Great job :D

Cute little game, I like the monke very much :D

Some settings would’ve been nice as the music was pretty loud for my preference

A leaderboard might’ve been a nice addition too! Definitely a fun experience, great job!!

Fun little game! Cute artstyle.

Hitboxes felt a little unfair at times but definitely a fun experience

Loved it! Great art style and sound design.

Final boss said mean things to me :(
