Great use the platform! Pixel art works well and I was able to quickly figure out how the game works. When I was first starting, I kept getting pwned by the pig. I tried to feed him cake, but I ate it instead, which turned out to be a viable strategy, and I was victorious! I liked the uniqueness of the enemies, and how discovering their weaknesses led to each playthrough feeling like a conquering a puzzle.

Above all, my favorite part of this game is that there is a "yeet" attack, and you just yeet your sword at the enemy. Top tier feature.

Good job!

Edit: I just noticed that you submitted the project 2 seconds before the deadline. That's hardcore.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed, and yeah, I was really working up until the last few minutes as I pretty much waited until the last 2 days of the game jam before making any real progress. Then I didn't realise how much went into getting the game up on github and making the itch.io page which ended up leaving me with just the 2 seconds to spare when I hit the submit button.

Hey! This was really fun! You need some more exposure in this game jam. Congrats on making a cool game. There was a bit of a learning curve in figuring out each enemy's weakness, but once I did it really helped! And the last boss really came down to the wire there, but I got him!

Great job!

I am surprised you did all this in a single file xD, never heard of sprig before but it looks awesome

Developer(+1)

Thanks!, yeah, I hadn't heard of sprig before either. It was just listed as an option for javascript users in this jam, so I checked it out and they have their own really cool thing where if you're one of the first 430 people to make a sprig game and you're a teen or younger, you get shipped a physical sprig device.

That’s awesome, I’ve been tempted to do some jams in these devices / fantasy consoles (like PICO8)
