This was quite the vibe, really enjoyed the music and old-school feel! The writing was fun and the environment, although simple, was fun to run around in. Sometimes enemies get stuck on Dale's head and the physics can get a little weird as a result, but it didn't bother me too much. Fun little game with awesome music! Nice work!

I definitely fell in love with the atmosphere and character design of this game. Even the writing has something extra to it. I think it could be improved, especially from the point of view of fluidity of movements and animations, nevertheless I think this is a very good work. I hope you will continue to improve it :)

A bit of a mix bag for me. There are a lot of small areas where you paid attention to detail that I liked. Having characters update their dialogue and having an overworld were really nice choices to me. However, controlling the character never felt great. I think it's because there isn't a lot of feedback to actions. For example the lack of sound effects made most actions feel really empty.

You seem like you have potential, but still need some more practice. Keep up the good work!

I enjoyed playing your game! Great work. It would be great to have a little more control over the jumps.

Great little platformer you have here! Always liked omnidirectional combat in these types of games, and it felt pretty good here. Hitboxes felt just the right size to where enemies weren't overbearing, but also not too disjointed either.

Not sure if intentional, but I sometimes had enemies sort of get stuck above the player character - you could still get them off by swinging upward, but you'd rapidly start ticking health. Didn't really affect combat too much otherwise.

Great work, this was fun to play!

Thank you for taking the time to play and for the kind words!

I think at this point we have to consider the enemy head jumping a bug. I had at least one player unaware that they could knock enemies off and sometimes the enemy is unable to do any damage in this position. It has been a good learning experience for simple enemy AI and platformer combat.

Looking forward to trying your game!
