It looks amazing! great job
Thank you very much!
Game looks cool! You might want to add a tutorial.
Thank you! Originally, it was planned, but due to lack of time, it didn't happen. The levels and the story will be redone after the Game Jam, and a tutorial will be added! For now, you can refer to the game's description if you have any doubts.
Very unique aesthetic! Visually very impressive for a jam. It’s nice that it has customizable controls and save points. Although, the camera movements in the first few rooms feel a bit excessive and dizzying.
Content-wise it’s really just one enemy and a boss but I can see all the framework is there and content will likely come after the jam. Aiming attacks is a little stiff. In the boss fight, it never felt worth it to risk jumping over the lava because of the instant death.
Overall, pretty impressive jam entry, would be intrigued to see where it goes after.
Thank you for your very constructive feedback! Indeed, the game will receive updates after the Game Jam, and most of the mechanics are already present but not fully utilized because it's more of a demo. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, some features were rushed due to time constraints.
Art and overall game looks good but controls was not explained anywhere . I still figured our R was attack but it was not enough. I still died to first robot because it is very hard to hit.
Hello, yes, due to time constraints, we weren't able to include a tutorial. All the controls are accessible in the options menu and are customizable; that's why they weren't explicitly named in the game description.
To target the first robot, simply orient the character towards it; the game will automatically aim at it.
To defeat it, it needs to overheat or be frozen. You'll notice this when it changes color. However, be cautious—if there's too much time between attacks, it returns to its normal temperature.
