Theme interpretation
The theme influenced the level win condition which is to collect alphabets and reveal a secret word before you die.

This is my first complete game so aim was to finish something playable.

Took me a little bit of time to get the hang of moving and shooting as it can be quite difficult, but the health the player has is very generous so it never felt like there was too much threat from the other enemies. I collected all the letters and finished the game but I didnt have enough time to read what they all spelt out but I feel like it was a lot more than 'feijoa' ? I think to improve this for the next jam you enter is consider firing a bullet to wherever the mouse pointer is - that would make that mechanic alot more manageable for the player. This game is begging for an electronic-type of background music which would just make it feel awesome. Also I'd consider lowering player health from something like 100 to 10 maybe, and when you die you either lose some letters or need to start again. This introduces some challenge and also replayability (particularly if you introduced a timer for the speed aspect). These are just some considerations for you to think about - I think your game has a lot of potential. Thanks for your submission - I had fun playing it.

Liked the arcade mechanics. Movement and shooting mechanics were unmanageable, but OK considering the fact this is your first complete game.

Well Done! Nice game

Short with basic gameplay but feels very much like an arcade-style game. Movement was a bit floaty but overall more than manageable and fun!

I like this game; I got the secret at the end. Very basic gameplay but it reminds me of the good ol days
