Game description
"Lucid" is a psychological thriller where you find yourself trapped in a dark, eerie environment with no memory of how you got there. As you explore, you uncover clues about your kidnapping and the twisted organization behind it. Solve puzzles, piece together the truth, and escape before the darkness consumes you.
Theme interpretation
In today’s world, conspiracy theories and fear of the unknown are widespread. This inspired the idea for my game: a mysterious organization kidnapping people for dark experiments. The player is one of the victims, trapped in a lucid dream induced by the experiment. The goal is to uncover the hidden truth and wake up.
I’m not sure if my interpretation of the theme "SECRET" perfectly fits, but I enjoyed creating this game over the past month. It was a challenging and rewarding experience.
Wildcards used (optional)

The graphics are truly beautiful, no doubt about it. But the mouse sensitivity... oh boy. I had to push the cursor to the edge of the second screen and still drag it further just to turn around. The vibe is spot on — oppressive and mysterious, like in a post-apocalyptic setting. You nailed that part. But honestly, the sensitivity makes it really hard to play.
I really liked the LiDAR-style graphics, they give the dream a unique and surreal look. Despite the camera sensitivity issue, I managed to wake up… only to discover that I’m a very short person: my head barely reachs the door handle! A small but immersive experience. Great job!
The mouse sensitivity is extremely low on my computer making this really difficult to play. For reference, I have to move my mouse almost 1ft on my desk for the camera to rotate ~5 degrees. The atmosphere is really cool and I like the writing so far, but am having trouble finding anything besides the battery, ambulance, and robot, and with the mouse sensitivity issue it's hard for me to really check out the environment. Would love to give this another shot if that can get fixed!
