Game description
Travel the world to discover new ingredients and recipes to recreate your family's long lost secret recipe!
In this game you are a cook whose main goal is to find the secret family recipe, called a golden recipe. You do that by collecting ingredients and experimenting with them to discover new recipes. The player can get ingredients from supplying a group of adventurers with the food which will increase their chances of succeeding in their adventures.
You and your party will traverse a randomly-generated map with a variety of activities, which each give unique ingredients.
Be careful though, if you don't supply your party with enough quality food, they might run out of steam and get knocked out. Any recipes you cooked carry on with you but you lose some of your ingredients when that happens.
Theme interpretation
The player hunts for the secret family recipe, braving the unknown to find clues to recreating the recipe.
Wildcards used (optional)
Let players break the rules with things like infinite lives or invincibility

gameplay and idea I really liked, the slay-the-spire progression and the back and forth between party and cooking, felt like cooking actually mattered. But the health of party etc is too hard to see as just obscure numbers, really needs to be health bars - AND visible at all times on the cooking screen. Also the cooking process was very frustrating UI with having to click and everything obscuring with the popups. I think with a little polish this will be a great game.
Also cant sell anything in shop - select items, get a price, but nothing happens when clicking sell
Thank you for the feedback! Making the stats health bar makes a lot of sense. I would love to hear more about how the cooking process was frustrating so I can make it a better experience. If the popups were not overlaying the inventory would that fix the frustrations or were there other things that were frustrating?
