Game description
Welcome to the Hemlock Algorithm! Explore the world filled with puzzles and secrets.

I wanted to try out doing a 3D game in like first time ever if not counting some unfinished test projects. And dang, it is some much more complex with that one extra dimesion. Of course it's not just that extra dimension you need to worry about but also all the lighting stuff etc which is so much simpler in 2D. For me at least. But exploring a three dimensional space is really so much more interesting than in 2D where you pretty much see everything at a glance.

So having decided that I wanted to try out 3D and the theme being SECRETS, it was quite an obvious choice to go with an explorative puzzle solving game along the lines of Myst or Witness (for what I know about it never having actually played it) and escape rooms. Explore this small(ish) area collecting items and solving different kinds of puzzles and find your way out of there...

Theme interpretation
The whole game concept is all about solving the secrets of this world. There is no hand real holding on what needs to be done and how to do it. There are many different secrets for you to solve and figure out but I tried to build the game so that it's beatable without fully uncovering them all. The biggest of the mysteries is probably its own font/writing method with which almost all the texts in the world are written.

Theme interpretation is spot on & game play is nice. I was able to solve some of it but got stuck as it felt a bit complex for my monke brain. Good Job

I'm not a very smart guy so figuring out puzzles is not something I'm super strong with. After running around aimlessly for like 10 minutes press (extremely satisfying) buttons and touching everything randomly, I gave up. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out your puzzles. I absolutely loved the menu interface, animations, overall style, and snappy feeling of the controls. Nice job!
