The game run smooth. Cute pixel arts. I collected trash cans and got 150 credits and moved on because it is unfortunately unfinished.
Thanks so much for playing at length! Yes, the final step was to implement placing furniture in the house, among other things. Wish I had more time: worked on it for almost the entire duration of the jam.
I liked the style of the game, I could easily see this as a classic flash game from back in the day! I also think the TrashBot's sign was really great, the first thing I did when playing was visit the shop haha!
Thanks for the game, and I hope you've had a great jam! :-)
Thanks so much! We had a lot of fun creating the design for TrashBot. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time for us to fully implement purchasing and placing furniture. Hope you had a great jam too!
Lovely characters and animations! Too bad it was not finished, I love the idea of using real time to affect gameplay, great potential there!
Thank you! Our inspiration was Animal Crossing and its real time mechanics. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time in the jam to fully realize the concept: we were hoping to be able to implement a system of purchasing and placing furniture along with other real time events like trash flowing in the river at certain times of day.
If the original zelda was a robot, it would look like this game. Very cute characters.
Thank you so much! We chose this style for ease of implementation.
There was a lot of back-end work that unfortunately didn't make it to the front-end of the game before the submission date.
