Really great game, my only issue I had was the controls, I think it would be best to have the jump button be the w key and the dash button be the space key. Honestly, I'd say go as far as fully developing this game, because this is really unique. I didn't get far because my wrist started to hurt. Also the animations are really good for the limited time you had with it. I'm just realizing this is 45 days old, have you worked on it more since then?

Sorry for the late late laaaaate response. I really didn't check itch.io for some time and just today I saw your review . I am really glad that you enjoyed the game! Unfortunately this project stopped when the game jam ended. It was just a way for me and my friend put some energy into something (since we both had a lot of time off due to corona). We learned a bunch and also had a lot of fun while doing it, but right now we are doing other projects.
Once again, I am happy that you liked the game and also glad for your feedback (its always important).
5/5, really well done on this one! Such a great game, the artwork is nice and the feeling is nice on it as well. I noticed that the shooting skeletons you could just get right next to them so they try to shoot you but because the arm is longer it misses you and you can just kill them standing there :D

Hey, this is near professional grade. I like it. But I found the fighting a bit unforgiving. The punches are not constant and fast enough. Any reason why you didn't have indefinite punching?
Also, my mouse cursor (in the style of a clock face?) was visible on the screen which made it confusing? Is there a reason for this?
Overall that mouse thingy and the difficult fighting mode subtracted a bit from the experience but overall this looks like it could be a great app game one day.
Thx for the feedback. The game needs a lot of polishing. I knew the combat was bad, but since we had a long ass road map to make the game playable we had to cut (A LOT) of things we would like to add and things we would like to polish.
If you check the github submission you will see that even at the very end we were fixing the game and making it at least a little bit enjoyable.
I acknowledge that the game lacks more consistent and fluid combat mechanics and if we decide to keep updating the project we will fix these problems and add more mechanics to make it way more enjoyable.

Awesome game! The art and animations looked amazing. That boss fight was pretty tough ngl but the time bubbles felt so good to use. Great job :)
