Nice Demo! I thought that it was cool but very unclear. The UI was very good and the Story was great. I will say the best part of the game for me was the visuals, I really like the polygon 3D model style. I did however find the movement a bit clunky and I thought the camera was way too close the the player. I did not like the pause menu, I think there should have been a button to send you back to the menu or back to the level selection area. I thought that the camera follow was very good and polished, but i think that when ever you move it should follow and snap back. With the audio I think it's all great except for the background music, it felt a bit out of place to me.
Overall really cool game! The visuals for me were amazing and the start menu was again amazing!!!
Hey RRgamer, Thanks for playing our game & giving us your feedback. We appreciate all the compliments as well. We are improving our game in some areas which include the areas you mentioned in your feedback. The instructions are being made more clear, combat system being revamped etc. As for the pause menu, there was a bug in there which was kind of breaking the game, so to submit on time, we only gave the simple pause & resume functionality to it. The menu has been fixed & will be functional in our next build. Keep a lookout for it! Take Care! :)
Nice concept, but hard to get what is going on without reading the instruction. Maybe an in-game tutorial would be handy. Combat system was too hard for me, to be honest. I ended up with some wierd glitch - instructions appeared on the screen and didn't close. Had to turn it off with task manager. Lowpoly graphics and colors are great!
Hey Arseny_Gar, Thanks for playing our game. We are in the process of improving this game & we will make the instructions more clear. We aren't making a tutorial as it is a relatively short game. The combat system is being revamped to something more dynamic & enjoyable. The pause menu had a bug which causes that glitch. We identified that bug & fixed it but not in the jam submitted build. Thank you for your feedback & compliments. And keep a lookout for our next version. Take Care! :)
I really enjoyed the whole style of the game, was really nice. Was quite hard though!
Hey Skett! Thanks for playing our game. We appreciate the compliments. :)
As for the hard difficulty rating, can you tell me which part of the game should we potentially make easier? Also, we are curious if you were able to complete the challenge?
The fights were pretty difficult, but it was jumping across the fast moving ledges that I kept struggling with the most! I haven't completed the challenge, Hopefully I'll have time to give it another go in the next day or two!
Hey Skett! Thanks for replying. We will certainly reduce difficulty in a couple of areas in our next build. Thanks for the feedback! :)
As for the challenge, well here's a devtip, start with the red area & be mindful when player nerfs activate! Good Luck!
Lovely looking game Keep working on it
Thanks StretchMasterP. We went on a bit of a break, but we will start optimizing this game soon. :)
The download files shows the game is for mac and linux https://prnt.sc/sshp5c, but I can't find any mac executables in the file.
We uploaded a Mac version of the game to the itch page & also to the source. It is untested though. Hope you like it! :)
Looks nice! Good work, the fights were a bit hard, and sometimes it took away the weapon, don't know why (maybe I missed something), beautifully made and could have potential for sure :)
Thanks for the compliments Jonnboy91! :)
The weapon going away was a player nerf for the Jade world which lasts 10 seconds.
Love the atmosphere and character models!
Thanks zhixson! :)
