Now, how would I re-build someone's project that's making use of Wwise on my machine that doesn't have it?
The project I just tried is having exactly that issue, it uses Wwise and I get compilation errors due to missing Audiokinetic base libraries...

And it seems one can't just get the Unity integration as a simple standalone package. They want you to install their launcher (hey, yet another "Unity Hub" like application), and while they claim "No login or license is needed" that is not entirely true, because downloading that launcher requires signing up with them.
