I was so creeped out by the background music/sounds, and even more hen I heared gunshots. When I saw the officers randomly shooting walls, I kinda didn't pay them much attention haha. You put in a lot of work into this, I liked it, really good job on making this game. This could grow into something really big!

Interesting concept! It took a bit for me to get into the game, but I really like the promise of what you've made so far.  I have to agree that the searching was a bit slow, but what made it really fun for me is that I accidentally aggro'd one of the flashlight men patrolling outside. I don't think the guy was supposed to keep shooting at me even when I ran back into the house, but he did! This made it to where I had to plan which places to look since his bullets only went so far.

So as a suggestion, perhaps speed up how long it takes to look inside something and add some guys inside the house that you have to avoid in your search (just to add some tension to the game.)

Or maybe add some kind of puzzle element to the search so the game is more of an escape room.

Regardless of what you do, I hope you continue to develop the game. It was a lot of fun once I got into it and I'd love to see it become a polished game!

so heres some constructive critisim. 1) i would change the brown carpet to something else, it blends in too much with the guys hair. 2) that one room was way too big to have nothing occupy it. if you ran out of time, just resize the room accordingly. 3) and this is a HUGE ONE, please dont make me wait there to search for something that long. let me hit E on things to search, then give a "found", or "sorry found nothing" message right away, or make a drawer open and you have to search the items in the drawer. again if this was a time thing, its understandable that you didnt have time to put all that in, but i would just let the player search faster.
