Incredible start to a Game Jam! Loved the simple setup and the atmosphere! Especially when you can hear but not see them! Would love to have been able to headshot the zombies, as a risk/reward element though. Would love to see this developed further for sure! :)
Congratulations on your first gameJam! A 3D game is a bigger challenge. Is there an ending with victory?
There is a win screen, but I definitely made it too hard to win. I should have made the zombies slower and maybe 1 less shot to kill.
Those are some fast zombies!
I had them spawning far away so the player wouldn't see them pop in, so I made them quicker so you wouldn't be waiting so long. Definitely not the right approach.
If I had to make it again I'd have a less open space and have slower zombies spawning around corners you can't see.
Pretty fun. Liked killing the zombies, wished there was more UI though.
I agree, UI was definitely lacking. I left UI and menus until the end of the jam, but ran out of time. Something to add extra time to next jam for sure
Very simple but polished Game Loop! Good going for your first Jam! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
Thank you :)
Well done for your first game jam! I lacked a mission but still had some fun :D Hope you continue on your game dev journey :) And good luck!
P.S. the mouse sensitivity is really high.
Thank you :)
I wanted to add an options screen to change camera sensitivity and audio levels but I ran out of time. I might go back later and implement it.
