There is no restart when you lose and you have to reload the page to try again. The game is based on a nice idea with grid based movement and a card system for actions. I can certainly see how this game could become really fun if more time is put into it. I found it a bit unfair that the enemies could shoot in any direction. I also found that I sometimes needed a move card but did not have one on my hand and was forced to play all cards on my hand before I could draw new ones. Maybe I could have an option to discard my hand at a small penalty (health maybe). I was a bit surprised that there was only a single level and no way to progress further once I had killed all enemies. Is this intentional? Overall I’d say that you’ve done a really good job for a game jam!

Really nice game - it takes some time to get used to it, but after you get it, it's pretty easy ;) I think it's unfair that enemies can shoot in any direction, while you can only on grid, but maybe in longer take it could be a balancing mechanics. The mix of boardgame-like movement + card game is a nice idea ;) It's sometimes punishing to not be able to get more cards, where you don't have any "Move" cards and randomizing system looks like it doesn't take much care of it. But in general, it's a very good game ;)

Thanks for playing and loved your feedback!!

In the more polished version, I'm working on 2 types of enemies, and the ones that shoot you directly will have less damage. For now the card system was random, but I have ideas for making it user skill based, or maybe even making sure that at least 1 move card is spawned every turn.

Great ideas for improvements! Wishing you all the best for your future projects! :)
