Programming the AI

What was the most fun part?
The last stretch of the game jam. Once I got the programming and art down, I enjoyed laying out the level, enemy placements, etc.

I grew legs good job on the art and the level design. 

And good job in getting the enemy ai programmed since you said you found that challenging.

This was a fun play through.  I feel down a pit in level 2 and couldn't get out so I had to restart from the beginning.

I think it's better to make enemy clone faster and improve player controller a little bit , it will be great competition game...maybe you could even add a clone of yourself after you loose or win , so you have to compete against yourself ...like a ghost system in racing games ,you know?

Thanks for your feedback. I initially planned to have 4 clones in total including the player. The ghost system sounds awesome. Will have to implement that in my game next time.

I liked that you could shoot the yellow slime to slow them down.

cool idea  about the race against another player.  we see the lines on the tile palette square. i think you just need to put  the sprite to point to fix the problem.

Yeah, tilemaps aren't something I used before, and that's something I want to work on in the future. Thank you for your feedback
