What was the most challenging part of making your entry?
Managing spawn points and merging separate sprites into one image was cumbersome but not overwhelming.

What was the most fun part?
This was my first game jam so just experiencing it was really fun. I look forward to doing more of these in the future.

Anything else to add? (important controls, assets used, special mentions, etc)
Didn't have time to add sfx or music. Wanted to add more aliens to combine but ran out of time. There is an off-by-one error when spawning but it doesnt break game. Antivirus may block build for some users - please select "Run anyway" to play. And a big thanks to James for hosting the jam.

This was nice silly fun! It was interesting to see how the aliens would mix together and I really enjoyed the names and descriptions :D Nice work!

One of my aliens was named Quesadilla Supreme!!! I swear if I get a dog I will name it that. I enjoyed the imaginative design of this game, I think there are some great ideas here. Great work!

Developer

Thanks I appreciate it! Yeah since the project had to be kept simple I wanted to put some humor into it to make it entertaining. I definitely have a lot of ideas to build it out.

Sadly, it is not set up to work with ultrawide screens. I cannot see the buttons. :( Of course, my game has its own ultrawide bug. I forgot to anchor my UI to the corners of the screen space so my timer and restart buttons overlay the level where they shouldn't on my screen. That's what happens when I throw the UI together last minute though I guess.

Developer

Yup I figured that was going to affect some users. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to fix the anchors before the deadline.
