- Great idea! I like the concept of bugs that are features :) The game has a great sense of humor, the graphics are nice and the music selection is great too. It even has a cute intro! Although I haven't had much fun with it (I guess the game isn't for me), I really like what you've done. Maybe the game could explain a bit better what can be done and what not, but I'm not sure about it.
- It's hard for a well polished game to convincingly pretend to be broken and your entry does this very well. I enjoyed the feeling of realizing part way through that everything that feels off is intentional. It starts to feel like a puzzle game, looking for what could be "broken". I had a lot of fun with this nice short experience.
- Pure genius! You did a _very_ convincing job of setting up what feels like a lighthearted but slightly buggy RPG... then suddenly it clicks, and it just keeps getting better from there! Having the rival be the only person in the world who seems concerned about any of this was a great touch. I can't wait to see where this goes next!
- Very entertaining. I laughed out loud at some of the solutions to the puzzles. To be continued?! I need more Zoink!
- The water reflection of the character is very buggy, it can easily move where it shouldn’t be. I really like how fluid the movement is in general, and the introduction sequence is nice. However, it isn’t very clear what you have to do to fight and do real damage to the enemy.

Haha, very great concept! I love it! I swear I needed half hour to leave the HomeTown from Jack :D
the puzzles in this were very fun to figure out! i think my favorite was getting through the flooded forest. interested to see where you take this in the future!
My experience trying to play this game: I figured out how to get past the hobgoblin but only have trying a bunch of thing and taking a bunch of damage. I tried backtracking home since the game mimics pokemon so much, but couldn't avoid triggering the hobgoblin again. Annoyed, I continued and got to the part where the guy asks for too much money and couldn't find anything to do that helped, even after finding the way to go around the entrance. I tried restarting the game to see if I'd missed something or otherwise softlocked, only to find out the entire opening is unskippable.
I don't think what you were trying to do was bad. However, I think you need to consider the player's perspective more.
Thanks for the feedback; probably worth stressing that it's impossible to 'softlock' yourself out of progressing. Added an extra disclaimer/hint to this effect in the game description.
