Size limit

So, according to the info in the resource links, the maximum possible cartridge size is likely 32 MB, but that doesn't seem to be the most common actual cartridge size. It seems like this would matter for any judges who want to test on actual hardware, so I thought it'd be good to ask. Is there a smaller limit on how big a game should be?

This may also be relevant to my own game, which I foolishly thought would have smaller map and audio data and decided to design without proper compression. With all the music and about half the content, it's currently at 12 MB.

Hey! You can feel free to use the entire 32 MB, all judges should have access to decent flashcarts which support the maximum ROM size, but in case they don't, playing in an emulator will also be an option for them. :)

Good to know and thanks for responding so quickly. It doesn't feel good, since my game genuinely isn't big enough to be taking up so much space, but at this point I don't think it's a good idea to redo the relevant code during the jam.
